The Christmas season is here, and we are looking forward to celebrating this wonderful time together, framing it with the encouragement “Make room for hope, for others and for kindness“. Throughout the story of Jesus’ birth, we see so many people making room for his arrival: Mary, Joseph, the innkeeper, the shepherds and the wise men. We, too, have an opportunity to make room for Jesus and the hope He brings, and to extend His kindness to those around us. As we reflect on this our prayer for you is found in Romans 15:13:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
